The Vanderbilt University was established one hundred and fifty years ago. In all those years, an African-American female has never ever been eligible for residency as a neuro-surgeon.
Tamia Potter broke that record on the 17th of March 2023. She is twenty-six years old. She wears the most dazzling smile ever.
As at 2019 statistics has it that there are only thirty-three African-American, female neurosurgeons. Tamia has added to that number now.
Dr. Tamia Potter majored in Chemistry from the FAMU College of Science and Technology in 2018. Same year, she won a scholarship to read Medicine at the Case Western Reserve University. 2023, she got a well-earned residency.
