Mrs. Nigeria Tarere Obaigbo offers awards to 5 creative children in Nigeria for Children’s Day.

Mrs Nigeria Tarere Obaigbo is still making media rounds since securing her crown. Last week, she appeared on Channels TV to talk about her crown and social work including environmental work with Eco Pro and her social outreach. 

Her latest project has been her Children’s Day school project in which the beauty queen offered cash prizes to creative children in Nigeria who would submit poetry or art on social media. 

There have been 5 winners of the prize, they are:
Debbyacts, a young aspiring writer, actress, producer, and director. She submitted poetry into the competition and received a prize.

Uyai Sunday a young painter who was a receiver of the prize.

Tofunmi Lalude is a writer who also has a blog where she shares her thoughts and poetry, she is also a receiver of the prize.

Fatima Gana is the fourth winner of the prize for her beautiful paintings.

The fifth winner has yet to be posted, however, all participants were able to capture the subject of the beauty of nature while exploring their talents.

Tarere also hosts a monthly spoken word gathering in Lagos titled, “The Gathering”
